At 21 years and 70 days, Alcaraz became the third player in the Open era to take multiple Wimbledons. Previously, this was done by Boris Becker (won the titles in 1985, 1986 and 1989) and Bjorn Borg (took the titles in 1976 and 1977).
The Spaniard became the 13th man in the Open era to win more than one Wimbledon. Before him, multiple champions included Roger Federer (8), Pete Sampras (7), Novak Djokovic (7), Bjorn Borg (5), John McEnroe (3), Boris Becker (3), Rod Laver (2), John Newcombe (2), Jimmy Connors (2), Stefan Edberg (2), Rafael Nadal (2) and Andy Murray (2).
