Newey is close to moving to Ferrari according to the British press.
Adrian Newey, who has technically already left his position as head of the Red Bull design bureau, will be able to join another Formula 1 team no later than May 1, 2025, if he wishes.
It is believed that the main contender for Newey is Ferrari, although some publications have not ruled out options with Aston Martin, McLaren, Mercedes and even Williams.
However, as the Daily Mail reports, citing its own sources in Italy, Adrian Newey`s contract with Ferrari has already been agreed.
According to several other sources in the paddock, Newey`s contract with Ferrari has either already been signed or will be in the very near future.
